Well it's been quite a while since I've done anything much with Somewhere on the Border but that's about to change as I am gearing up to get some more work done on my Aeroth setting and have been putting quite a bit of thought into how I want to portray it.
The Boar Company
Traditionally, I've always gone with a Chronopia style aesthetic for the Dwarves which is absolutely fine for the Boar Company itself who are after all a group of hardy adventurers who patrol the frontier of the Dwarven territories but what about the regular Dwarven army?
As the Dwarves of Aeroth have reached the industrial age levels of technology, I plan on creating a more steampunk style for them with clanking War Golems and troops armed with cutting edge technology which is going to be fun to create. Further, I am also re-exploring the other forces on Aeroth with an eye to giving them all a bit of a revise and rethink.
With this in mind, I will be posting a few bits and bobs over the coming week or two but will also be posting a series of linked battle reports during my much needed holiday from work and to do that, I am going to need to get cracking with sculpting as I want to be able to field some new additions to my forces. I already have a Horned Folk warrior primed and ready for paint but will also be finishing off a Boar Company warbeast rider too so watch this space!
Hopefully I will have something to post in the next day or two but till then, All the best!
